Games and interaction for kids at a care facility, all playable from a single input device.
A website deployed live at Hilltop Home, a care facility for children with developmental disabilities. It gives the kids games and ways to interact that work from one input device, so playing doesn’t depend on a keyboard and mouse.
When there’s only one input, every screen has to be playable with a single action. That changes how you think about menus, timing and feedback, and it makes you cut anything that isn’t essential.
A project from my time on the NCSU Neurotech Club’s software team. [ADD: which games you built, how it’s hosted, and how the staff and kids have taken to it.]
